Esterline Power Systems (Leach International) designs and manufactures a broad range of high-reliable power switching and control components and equipment for aerospace, rail, and high-end industrial applications worldwide.   • Founded in 1919
  • Incorporated in 1941 as Leach Relay Company
  • Established European subsidiary (LRE, Germany) in 1962, later becoming an independent company in 1968; LRE acquired G.E.P.E. sa and Les Modeles Francais sa during the 1980s/1990s
  • Consolidated US operations as Leach Corporation in 1962
  • Merged with LRE in 1994 to form Leach International Corporation
  • In 1996 established the Asia-Pacific division
  • Joint venture with Tianyi Electrotechnical Factory resulted in establishment of the Guizhou Leach
  • Tianyi Aviation Electrical Company in Zunyi City, China 1999
  • Esterline acquires Leach International in July 2004
