1949 - Bronner Screen Printing (Memtron) is founded

1960 - Leach GmbH (LRE Medical) is founded

1969 - Leach (LRE Medical) opens Nordlingen, Germany facility

1970 - Leach (LRE Medical) develops first blood glucose meter

1972 - Leach (LRE Medical) develops blood glucose meter for clinics

1973 - LRE Medical separates from Leach

1974 - LRE Medical moves into Nordlingen, Germany facility

1979 - LRE Medical introduces meter to analyze urine

1979 - Advanced Input Devices is founded and produces its first product, a full-travel keyboard

1980 - LRE Medical manufactures the first semi-automatic blood meter

1982 - Advanced Input Devices add non-tactile membrane capability

1984 - Advanced Input Devices builds and ships 750,000 IBM PC Jr. Keyboards

1984 - Bronner Screen Printing becomes Memtron Input Components

1986 - LRE introduces the Reflolux II, a battery operated portable meter

1986 - Memtron adds PCB backed membrane switch capability

1988 - Advanced Input Devices changes product strategy to custom input device products

1989 - Advanced Input Devices adds elastomer molding capability

1991 - Memtron moves into new facility in Frankenmuth, Michigan

1994 - Advanced Input Devices adds surface mount and laser cutting capabilities

1995 - Memtron adds laser cutting capability

1998 - Advanced Input Devices moves to current Coeur d'Alene location

1998 - Memtron acquired by Esterline Corporation

1999 - Advanced Input Devices acquired by Esterline, changes marketing named to Advanced Input Systems

2002 - Advanced Input Systems wins $10.9M contract for the Master Vehicle Light Switch (MVLS)

2004 - Esterline Input Devices Shanghai, China is founded

2004 - LRE Medical GmbH acquired by Esterline Corporation

2006 - Advanced Input Systems introduces the patented Medigenic Infection Control Keyboard

2007 - Memtron adds clean room capabilities

2008 - Memtron acquires Duraswitch® from InPlay Technologies 

2008 - LRE Medical launches Compact Point-of-Care solution

2009 - Medigenic Infection Control Keyboard wins Medical Design Excellence award

2010 - Advanced Input Systems adds 54,000 sq. ft of additional manufacturing space to facility

2011 - LRE Medical celebrates 50th anniversary
