Mass Transit

Specifically the silicone, Neoprene®, and EPDM Rubber compounds that meets the Federal Railroad Administration and other OEM’s specification and requirements. Kirkhill-TA rubber compounds meet the Federal Railroad Administration requirements as they pertain to rate of smoke generation (ASTM E662). Cited by the (ASTM C 542). Kirkhill-TA compounds comply with the Federal Railroad Administration requirements as they pertain to flame propagation (ASTM C 1166). Kirkhill-TA also meets OEM’s requirements pertaining to toxic gas production (SMP800C).
