EVERETT, Wash., February 7, 2011 — Esterline Control Systems announced today that its new manufacturing plant for Korry control products has been awarded LEED® base certification established by the U.S. Green Building Council and verified by the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design ) is the nation’s preeminent program for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings. Esterline's Korry facility, located near Paine Field in Everett, Washington is the largest LEED Certified manufacturing facility in Washington State.
