The team is the only US-based safety-critical software development service provider to hold this highest possible rating.

As one of only 25 companies in the US, and around 100 in the world, to earn this high maturity recognition, the team also holds an ISO 9001:2000 quality certification as further proof of its process improvement leadership.

The appraisal followed the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) v1.2 method and is based on CMMI-DEV v1.2 for Maturity Level 5. CMMI is designated by Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute (SEI), a federally funded research and development center. It provides an objective assessment of the full range of an organization's engineering capabilities. Higher maturity levels signify lower risks for successful program execution.
