MASON Controls

With its MASON product line, Esterline is the leader in grip and control wheel technology, with more types and styles than any other manufacturer. MASON solutions include world-class control devices and subsystems for today’s advanced cockpits and military vehicles. They stand out from the competition with thoroughly and elegantly engineered designs, integrating human factors, embedded software, power conservation, environmental ruggedness, weight savings, maintainability, and more.

New, advanced products in the MASON line include active sidesticks for flight control and autonomous grips for control of unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) and unmanned airborne vehicles (UAV). MASON human-machine interface solutions include:

  • Control grips
  • Autonomous grips
  • Cyclic and collective grips
  • UGV/UAV controllers
  • Control wheels
  • Throttle quadrants
  • Active side sticks
  • Cursor control devices

The MASON line also includes a comprehensive range of switches and transducers for military and commercial aircraft, track vehicles, and missile firing systems. In addition, we design and manufacture the electronic systems that enable our controls to interface seamlessly with our customer's platform.

MASON grips, control wheels, throttle assemblies, and communications products can be found on virtually every military and commercial aircraft in the world, as well as on some of the most sophisticated military ground vehicles.
