Control Solutions for Aerospace and Defense
Our KORRY control solutions for aerospace and defense crewstations provide high-reliability information display and control functions for communication, warning, advisory, flight, and engine systems. We integrate cost-effective, plug-and-play subsystems, drawing on our entire range of expertise in optics, electronics, software, mechanical packaging, and mechanism design. We also rely on our many proprietary technologies in illumination, displays, and switching.
The integration we provide goes beyond Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) packaging of lower-level assemblies and components.
We design and implement the electronics and software architecture for circuits such as control logic, communication, graphics generation, and display drivers. We also create software in conformance with RTCA DO-178B or MIL-STD-498.

RT-1042 ATC/TCAS Controller
With the KORRY RT-1042 ATC/TCAS controller, you now have another source for reliable controllers.
- Developed with the major transponder manufacturers and our customers, in accordance with ARINC 718A.
- Engineered to meet the European mandate for Mode S Elementary Surveillance within the airspace of Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
- The only ATC/TCAS controller available with both an LED display and LED area lighting in the front panel. You get 100-percent LED illumination for life-of-the-aircraft longevity and significant savings in maintenance costs.
- Available in rotary (left photo) and keypad versions in colors to match the aircraft’s flight deck.

ADS-B Guidance Display Unit
Korry’s ADS-B guidance display presents critical data in the pilot’s forward field of view. It works in conjunction with an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), displaying EFB information in the pilot’s sight line, so the pilot does not have to turn the head momentarily.

Control Panel Assemblies
Korry provides turn-key control panel assemblies, also referred to as line replaceable units (LRUs), switch panel assemblies, or lightplate assemblies. These assemblies typically consist of:
- Lightplate with nomenclature and indicia, per MIL-P-7788, SAE AS7788, and Boeing Specification D6-S2191-1
- Back plate
- Stand-off and other structural elements
- Discrete components, including pushbutton switches, switch guards, indicators, rotary switches, toggle and rocker switches, potentiometers, photosensors, and various gauges or displays
- Mounting hardware
- Wiring harness and connector(s)
 Consult Korry for customized, turn-key assemblies of lightplates, pushbutton switches, rotaries, indicators, potentiometers, and other components. Various types and combinations of illumination are available, including incandescent, LED, and EL. We pay close attention to ensuring lighting balance. Our engineers can design an assembly to your existing specifications or work with you to develop specifications that address your system or subsystem requirements. We have more than 60 years of experience in interface design and manufacture as well as component selection.
We pay particular attention to lighting performance and ensure uniformly bright, balanced illumination across the entire assembly. Sunlight-readable and night-vision compatible lighting are Korry specialties.
We manufacture many of the components ourselves, such as our Chromalux line of switches and indicators, and perform all final assembly and testing in house to our uncompromising quality standards.
