Benefits
Built to the highest military standards, the RA250 provides excellent quality field communications, in extreme conditions, reliably through many years of active service. The RA250 is simple to use allowing quick and effective use with minimal training. The low profile earpiece facilitates use under a protective helmet maintaining the head protection required in an active military situation.
The RA250 can be specified with a keypad, a display and controls for volume and radio functions to make use of enhanced system capability delivering clear, simple and effective communications.
Applications
This handset is tough enough to be used in any operational environment, providing excellent intelligibility, being configurable for use with a choice of radio types. It includes a built-in Push to Talk facility, and is ergonomically designed to be used whilst wearing a helmet.
The RA250 is the perfect analogue handset for use on field radios or fixed field communications equipment allowing clear communications in battlefield scenarios. A choice of mounting options means it is always on hand when it is required whether it is attached to a base, stowed in a delicate hanger or hanging from a nail in a tree.

The RA250 variants provide a choice of microphone impedances and types, earphone impedances, cable and termination types, number of switches and the provision of an internal amplifier. It is commonly available in black or green.
