June 2001 - Palomar Products has completed the development phase and has started delivering Secure Intercommunications Systems to Bombardier, in Montreal Quebec, for a military derivative of their Challenger 604 airplanes.

March 2001 - March 2001 - Palomar Products has been selected by the U.S. Navy (NAVAIR) to provide the Intercommunications Systems (ICS) for the Royal Netherlands Navy (RNLN) P-3 Capability Upkeep Program (CUP). In this upgrade program, seven of ten aircraft will be modernized based on the US Navy's Anti-surface warfare Improvement Program (AIP).

April 2000 - Palomar received a contract for the first of many EP-3E shipsets of modified AN/AIC-34(V) Intercommunications Systems (ICS). Delivery is scheduled for December 2000.

March, 2000 - Palomar Products, Inc. has been selected by Boeing to provide a secure intercommunications system for the US Air Force's first Airborne Laser (ABL). A virtually stock 747-400F has been delivered to Boeing's facility in Wichita, Kansas for conversion into the first military laser aircraft.

September 20, 1999 - With the latest order for AN/AIC-29 secure intercommunication system equipment, Palomar Products, Inc. will continue its role in the war against drugs. PPI has received a $2.1 million contract award to manufacture six additional shipsets of AIC-29s for the U. S. Customs Services fleet of P-3 aircraft.

Huntington Beach, California -- July 1, 1999--EAQA, INC. has approved Palomar Products, Inc. Quality Management System for registration to ISO 9001. This award was the completion of a process, which started in January of 1998 upon moving to Rancho Santa Margarita from Carlsbad.

March, 1999 - Palomar Products completed its first year as an independent subsidiary. We were successful in achieving our business objectives and our employees grew professionally. It marked a year of significant change, sine we relocated to Rancho Santa Margarita from the Carlsbad facility and began doing business as a separate company.

January, 1999 - The Voice Switch delivered by Palomar Products to the Area Control Center at the Zurich, Switzerland Airport celebrated one year of continuous, uninterrupted service. The Palomar voice switch achieved a remarkable 100% availability during the first year of operation. This is virtually unheard of in the initial installation of any product.

January, 1998 - Palomar Products, Inc. (PPI) has completed the transition of the Zurich Air Traffic Control Center Switch. Over the two day period of January 10 and 11, 1998, Team Leader Art Webb, Alberto Lio, Jason Rhubotom, and Dan Halabuk from PPI, along with a team of swisscontrol operations, engineering and management personnel, completed the cutover of Area Control Center (AAC), Tower and Approach Control circuitry and a substantial number of trunk lines from the old Zurich Switch.
