Racal Acoustics, part of Esterline Communication Systems, has today been honoured with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation for their development of a communications headset, the RA5000 Raptor, which has provided hearing protection for tens of thousands of soldiers during combat missions worldwide and increased the businesses turnover by 124% over a three year period. The Queen's Awards for Enterprise are the UK's most prestigious Awards for business performance, recognising and rewarding outstanding achievement by UK companies.
