Head-Up Display (HUD) Repeater
- Full color AMLCD with LED backlight provides a sunlight readable display with much greater reliability than conventional AMLCDs that use fluorescent backlighting.
- VGA standard for 4 x 5 inch display screen provides better than 120 pixels per inch.
- High resolution ideal for HUD symbology or text data.
- Ideal for use in open cockpits such as fighters and trainers.
The CMC Electronics' HUD Repeater allows the instructor or co-pilot to monitor what the front seat pilot is seeing through the HUD. The HUD Repeater employs a full color ruggedized AMLCD. The high resolution of 120 pixels per inch (4 x 5 Inch VGA) provides excellent definition for the HUD camera video input and the HUD symbology overlay.
The high brightness capability of over 250 ftL assures display visibility even when used in an open cockpit and with direct sunlight. The HUD repeater is NVG compatible. The HUD repeater features LED backlighting, which provides a significant increase in reliability over displays that use the fluorescent backlighting. Mil-Std-810 and Mil-Std-461/462 qualified.
