(MONTREAL, Canada - September 16, 2005) CMC Electronics Inc. is pleased to announce that François Dorval has recently joined the company in the newly created position of Vice-President, Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement.
Most recently, François was Vice President of Programs at Thales Avionics Canada Inc. He previously held the position of Director, Quality and Continuous Improvement, at Thales, a company he joined in 1997 as a Program Manager. François began his career in the automotive industry as a Project Engineer. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from l'École Polytechnique de l'Université de Montréal.
"François has gained valuable experience in the aerospace industry where he has held a variety of senior level positions in program and quality management. At CMC, he will provide vital support to our company's efforts to continuously improve our processes as a means to enhance customer satisfaction," said Jean-Pierre Mortreux, President and CEO, CMC Electronics.
