(Montreal, Canada – November 9, 2011) Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) is pleased to announce that its Hybrid Microelectronics business has been presented with a 4-Star Supplier Excellence Award by Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) at an annual award ceremony held in Los Angeles, California, in September. The award recognizes CMC’s ranking as one of the top six suppliers among Raytheon SAS’s 4,000 suppliers.
Raytheon SAS presents 4-Star Awards to suppliers who have attained an overall quality, delivery and customer satisfaction rating of greater than 98%.

The annual Raytheon event pays tribute to suppliers who have contributed to the success of SAS programs by providing exceptional performance in the areas of quality, delivery and customer satisfaction. Evaluations of suppliers’ performance by the Raytheon buyers and material program managers who deal with them every day are also part of the selection process.
