(Paris International Air Show – June 20, 2011) Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) is pleased to announce that formal flight tests were completed and the first aircraft and spares were formally delivered to the Chilean Air Force (FACH) in April 2011 further to its selection of CMC in the fall of 2009 to provide the complete cockpit avionics systems upgrade of the FACH C-130 fleet. As prime contractor, CMC is responsible for delivery of the complete equipment suite including the supply of turnkey installation kits as well as all in-country activities including touch labour, training and support.

(Paris Air Show – June 20, 2011) Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) is pleased to announce that the first flight has taken place in early May of a Finnish Air Force Hawk Mk66 advanced trainer equipped with CMC’s glass cockpit upgrade. CMC was selected by Patria, Finland, to perform a glass cockpit upgrade of the fleet of BAE Systems Hawk Mk66 advanced jet trainers for the Finnish Air Force. The Finnish Air Force purchased 18 ex-Swiss Air Force Hawk Mk66 aircraft in 2007 to add to their fleet of Hawk Mk51s.

(Paris International Air Show – June 20, 2011) Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Northrop Grumman Corporation to supply its TacView® Portable Mission Display for the U.S. Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command Real Time Information in the Cockpit (RTIC) Program. The contract covers dual installations of the TacView system on board a total of thirty-two C-130H aircraft. Deliveries began in mid-June 2011 and will be completed by October 2011.

(Montreal, Canada – Feb. 22, 2011) Esterline CMC Electronics (CMC) is pleased to announce that its second-generation SureSight® CMA-2600 I-Series™ Integrated Sensor System is now approved for use as an Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) on the Dassault Falcon 7X. This approval was granted recently by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and follows the certification by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), the lead certification authority, received in July 2010. With these approvals, F7X operators can now take advantage of expanded operational credits afforded to aircraft equipped with an EFVS.
