(Montreal - February 25, 2008) CMC Electronics is supplying its state-of-the-art CMA-9000 Flight Management System (FMS) to Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. as a standard fit on the fleet of Pilatus PC-21 turboprop trainer aircraft selected by the Republic of Singapore Air Force. CMC Electronics is also supplying its compact, high-performance SparrowHawk Head Up Display (HUD) integrated with a HUD Symbol Generator, and a Video Display Unit for the rear cockpit of the PC-21.

(Montreal and Singapore Air Show - February 19, 2008) CMC Electronics has been awarded a contract by Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) to supply its integrated Cockpit 4000 avionics suite for 40 KT-1C trainer aircraft for the Turkish Air Force.

(Montreal and Singapore Air Show - February 19, 2008) CMC Electronics is on track to complete deliveries of Head Up Display (HUD) subsystems to Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. for the Republic of Singapore Air Force's fleet of PC-21 aircraft. Pilatus Aircraft awarded CMC Electronics the contract for the supply of 25 HUDs in November 2006. CMC is also contracted to provide software that is certifiable to DO-178 Level C.

(Montreal, Canada - February 8, 2007) CMC Electronics Inc. has been selected by Airbus Transport International (ATI) to supply its state-of-the-art Flight Management System (FMS) known as the CMA-9000 for the retrofit of its fleet of five A300-600ST Beluga transport aircraft. The installation will consist of a dual CMA-9000 FMS, providing the aircraft with enhanced operational capability.

(Montreal and Ottawa, Canada - October 31, 2007) The Board of Directors of the Aerospace Industries Association of Canada (AIAC) has elected Jean-Pierre Mortreux as Chairman of the AIAC for 2007-2008, following its Annual General meeting on October 1, 2007. Mr. Mortreux is President and CEO of CMC Electronics Inc. He succeeds Don Campbell, Executive Vice President of CAE Inc., who chaired the Association in 2006-2007.

(Montreal - October 15, 2007) CMC Electronics' new Portable Mission Display known as TacView™ has been selected by the United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) for its AC-130 Gunship aircraft. The TacView displays will be offered in a dual installation that will enable paperless cockpit operations, including aircraft data and procedures manuals, interactive electronic charts and improved situational awareness, using the U.S. Air Force FalconView™ mission planning system.

(National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) - Sept. 24, 2007) CMC Electronics is launching an improved version of its certified, second-generation SureSight® CMA-2600 I-Series™ integrated sensor system for Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS) applications. The CMA-2600i will offer enhancements in image processing within the existing hardware as well as improvements in optics and wave band filtering. The CMA-2600i integrated sensor system has been selected by Rockwell Collins for use on the recently launched Challenger* BEVS program for the new widebody Bombardier Challenger 605* jet.

The CMA-2700 will feature next-generation digital signal processing, a high-resolution 640 x 512 pixel Focal Plane Array, and will be certified to the highest level yet for an integrated sensor system: Level B certification to DO-178B and DO-254. The SureSight CMA-2700 has been selected by Rockwell Collins for use on the recently launched Bombardier Global Vision* flight deck, a new and key feature on the high-speed Global 5000* and ultra long-range Global Express XRS* business jets.

The PilotView EFB will enable paperless cockpit operations, including electronic charts, graphical weather, aircraft and operator manuals, while also providing cockpit connectivity and the hosting of display functions for Rockwell Collins' Cabin Electronic System.

(National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) - Sept. 24, 2007) Pentastar Aviation, LLC of Waterford, Michigan, has been granted Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval to install CMC Electronics' PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) systems on the Falcon 50, Falcon 900 and Falcon 900EX series aircraft as well as the LearJet 45 series aircraft. The Approved Model List (AML) change grants Pentastar the first Class 2 EFB system approval for full-time 3D position interface (own-ship position mapping) in the industry.

(National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) - Sept. 24, 2007) CMC Electronics' latest generation Global Positioning System (GPS)-based CMA-9000 Flight Management System (FMS) has been selected by Piaggio Aero Industries for the retrofit of six (6) Piaggio P166-DP1 aircraft. The aircraft are operated by the "Guardia di Finanza", Italy's Border Patrol agency. The CMA-9000 is part of the Communications Navigation Identification architecture provided by SELEX Communications, a Finmeccanica Company.

(Paris Air Show - June 19, 2007) CMC Electronics Inc. has signed a contract with Lufthansa and Lufthansa Technik to supply its latest generation Flight Management System (FMS) known as the CMA-9000 for the retrofit of its fleet of fourteen A300-600 aircraft. The upgraded A300-600s have a much larger Navigation Database, improved performance optimization and increased datalink capability. The installation will consist of a dual CMA-9000 Flight Management System, providing the aircraft with multi-sensor based navigation and enhanced operational capability. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2009.

(Paris Air Show - June 18, 2007) CMC Electronics' integrated avionics suite, known as the Cockpit 4000, is on display in the Alenia Aermacchi M-311 jet trainer aircraft at this year's Paris Air Show.

(Paris Air Show - June 18, 2007) CMC Electronics Inc. has reached a major milestone - the transition from the development phase to the production phase of the CP-140 Navigation Flight Instruments Modernization Program (NFIMP) with Canada's Department of National Defence (DND). To date, CMC has installed and received DND acceptance on four CP-140 aircraft. The fifth aircraft has recently been inducted into the production phase.

(Paris Air Show - June 18, 2007) CMC Electronics Inc. has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for the installation and certification of Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) avionics for the FAA's Bombardier Global 5000* aircraft.

(Paris Air Show - June 18, 2007) The CMC Electronics SureSight® M-Series™ Enhanced Vision System (EVS) sensor has been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration for installation on the Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. CMC's M-Series EVS sensor and PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) were selected as factory options by Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd. on the PC-12. The PilotView EFB will function as a stand-alone system and as a display for the M-Series EVS sensor. The Supplemental Type Certification (STC) for the PilotView EFB installation is expected shortly. Pilatus is offering the SureSight M-Series EVS sensor as well as as the PilotView EFB as retrofit kits to their dealer network.
