(Montreal and Ottawa, Canada - December 14, 2006) - CMC Electronics' PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) has been selected by Embraer to equip the flight decks of its Legacy 600, E-Jets family, and Lineage 1000 aircraft.

Montreal, December 1, 2006 - The Quebec Minister of Employment and Social Solidarity, Michelle Courchesne, and the President and CEO of CMC Electronics, Jean-Pierre Mortreux, have announced a $2.8 million investment by CMC in an employee training program which includes financial support of $745,000 from Emploi-Québec. The training program involves 215 specialized jobs of which 140 are new positions.

(National Business Aviation Association - October 16, 2006) ABC Completions of Montreal, Quebec, has received Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval to install the CMC Electronics' PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) on a CL-604 Challenger business jet aircraft. As part of the installation, ABC Completions has provided a custom made telescopic articulating mount, which places the EFB in the optimum position for comfortable viewing and usage, while maintaining safe operations of all cockpit controls. ABC Completions received a STC for CMC Electronics' class 2 EFB on a Global Express in 2005.

(National Business Aviation Association - October 16, 2006) CMC Electronics' PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) has been selected by Sino Swearingen Aircraft Corporation as a standard option on the SJ-30 business jet. The Class 2 EFB can be side mounted on either the pilot or copilot side.

(National Business Aviation Association - October 16, 2006) CMC Electronics has obtained a TSO by the FAA for its new-generation Global Positioning System (GPS)-based CMA-9000 Flight Management System (FMS) on August 28, 2006. The CMA-9000 FMS has been selected by Pilatus for the PC-21 turboprop trainer aircraft and by Thales for their avionics suite on the Sukhoi SuperJet 100.

National Business Aviation Association - October 16, 2006) CMC Electronics is displaying its latest generation, aviation Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver which incorporates Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) technology. The high performance IntegriFlight™ CMA-5024 aviation GPS receiver provides Space Based Augmentation System (SBAS) and GPS primary means navigation as well as GPS approach capability for business, regional, commercial air transport and helicopter aircraft. It is intended for both retrofit and OEM installations.

(National Business Aviation Association - October 16, 2006) FAA certification is expected imminently of both the CMC Electronics PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and the CMC Electronics SureSight® M-Series™ Enhanced Vision System (EVS) sensor which were selected as factory options by Pilatus Business Aircraft Ltd. on the PC-12 aircraft. Pilatus is offering the CMC Electronics PilotView EFB as well as the SureSight M-Series EVS sensor as retrofit kits to their dealer network.

(Farnborough International Airshow - July 17, 2006) CMC Electronics Inc. has been awarded a contract by Rheinmetall Defence Electronics of Germany for the development and manufacture of Load Master Control Displays for the new A400M aircraft. CMC will design and produce all of the man-machine interface displays in the A400M's cargo hold area.

(Farnborough Airshow - July 17, 2006) All Nippon Airways (ANA) has selected CMC Electronics' new, compact Satellite Communications (Satcom) high gain antenna system known as SatLite® for its long-range B737-700ER aircraft. ANA is the first airline scheduled to take delivery of SatLite-equipped aircraft beginning in February 2007. CMC's SatLite is ARINC 781-compliant and supports Inmarsat Aero-H, H+, Swift64 and SwiftBroadBand satellite communications services. The design of the top-mounted low-profile antenna with integrated Beam Steering Unit is based on CMC's field proven proprietary technology and architecture used in its industry leading CMA-2102 high gain antenna system.

A derivative of this next-generation system has already been selected for the Canadian H-92 Maritime Helicopter Project.

(Farnborough International Air Show - July 17, 2006) CMC Electronics Inc. has been awarded a contract to perform the avionics systems integration of a second Dubai Air Wing C-130 cockpit upgrade program. CMC Electronics is again teamed with Gulf Aircraft Maintenance Company (GAMCO), the prime contractor for the project. CMC Electronics completed the avionics systems integration of the Dubai Air Wing L100-30 aircraft, which was on display at the 2005 Dubai Air Show.

(Farnborough International Airshow - July 17, 2006) CMC Electronics has been contracted by Marshall Aerospace of Cambridge, England, to supply its latest generation Flight Management System (FMS), known as the CMA-9000, for four C-130 aircraft to be upgraded by Marshall Aerospace for the Dutch Air Force.

(Farnborough International Air Show - July 17, 2006) CMC Electronics Inc. is leading the Canadian Galileo Safety Of Life demonstrator project with the support of two major partners, NovAtel and the École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS). NovAtel will provide the satellite receivers and the ETS will develop a Galileo simulator for testing the satellite receivers. In addition to managing the project, CMC will develop the aviation application software to complete the Safety Of Life aviation receiver.

(Farnborough International Airshow - July 17, 2006) Pentastar Aviation, LLC of Waterford, Michigan, has been granted Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval to install dual CMC Electronics' PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) systems in Gulfstream 1125 Westwind Astra, Astra SPX, G100, G150, G-ll, G-IIB, G-lll, G-lV G-V and G-VSP as well as Dassault Falcon 2000/2000EX business jet aircraft. The STC covers a yoke mounted EFB solution that provides Gulfstream and Dassault operators with the capability to display Jeppesen charts and graphical weather information.

(Farnborough International Airshow - July 17, 2006) CMC Electronics has completed the first installation of its class 2 PilotView® Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) with Lufthansa Bombardier Aircraft Services (LBAS*) of Berlin, Germany. The installation was on a Bombardier Global* Express business jet using the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC), which LBAS purchased from ABC Completions of Montreal, Quebec. The STC covers a side-mounted EFB solution, providing Global Express operators with the capability to display Jeppesen charts and to use the PilotView as an alternate display for their Enhanced Vision System.

(Farnborough Airshow - July 17, 2006) CMC Electronics Inc. has signed a contract with Thales to supply its latest generation Flight Management System (FMS) known as the CMA-9000 for the Thales avionics suite on the Russian Regional Jet Program. The CMA-9000 will provide the aircraft with multi-sensor based navigation and enhanced operational capability. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2007.

(Farnborough International Airshow - July 17, 2006) CMC Electronics' Integrated Cockpit is on display in Raytheon Aircraft Company's Beechcraft T6-B next-generation trainer at this year's Farnborough Airshow. CMC Electronics was recently awarded a contract by Raytheon Aircraft Company as the prime contractor for the Avionics Systems Integration of the Beechcraft T-6B military trainer aircraft. The Beechcraft T-6B is an evolutionary trainer aircraft based on the T-6A Texan II, a tandem cockpit, turboprop trainer aircraft used by the U.S. Air Force for basic pilot training and by the U.S. Navy for Primary and Intermediate Joint Naval Flight Officer and Air Force Navigator / Weapons Systems Officer training.
