The primary objective of the program is to increase Reliability and Maintainability, with a secondary objective to dramatically reduce the lifecycle costs of the A-10 HUD by providing a tenfold increase in the reliability of the HUD. The A-10 aircraft is scheduled to remain in service until the year 2028.

Paris International Air Show - June 13, 2005) CMC Electronics Inc. has been awarded a program to supply its Global Positioning System-based Flight Management System (GPS/FMS) known as the CMA-900 to Transaero Airlines of Russia for its fleet of five (5) 747 aircraft. The CMA-900 will provide the aircraft with GPS-based navigation and enhanced operational capability. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in May 2005 and will be completed by early 2006. CMC has previously supplied Transaero with its CMA-900 FMS for the airline's fleet of B737-200s.
