(OTTAWA and MONTREAL, Canada - January 17, 2006) CMC Electronics Inc. has realized a major milestone event on December 9th, 2005, by achieving Prototype Acceptance for the CP-140 Aurora Navigation and Flight Instruments Modernization Project (NFIMP) with Canada's Department of National Defence (DND). CMC Electronics procured, integrated and proved compliance for the new avionics suite installed on the prototype CP-140 aircraft, by successfully completing the flight test program. To date, the CMC modification has been installed and tested on three CP-140 aircraft.

CMC Électronique a fourni, intégré et assuré la conformité de la nouvelle suite avionique installée à bord du prototype CP-140 qui a passé avec succès le programme d'essai en vol. À ce jour, la modification de CMC a été installée et mise à l'essai à bord de trois appareils CP-140.
