(Calgary, Alberta, Canada and Montréal, Québec, Canada, May 15, 2003) CMC Electronics Inc. has sold its non-aviation Global Positioning System (GPS) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) product line to its subsidiary, NovAtel Inc. (NASDAQ: NGPS). The announcement follows the signing by both companies of a Memorandum of Understanding, which was announced in February 2003.

(EBACE, Geneva, Switzerland, May 7, 2003) At the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition, CMC Electronics Inc. announced that its SureSight™ I-series™ Enhanced Vision System (EVS) Infrared (IR) sensor will be delivered in July for integration with the Thales Avionics EVS as part of the Bombardier Enhanced Vision System (BEVS). Launched at the NBAA Annual Meeting and Convention in October 2002, the Bombardier Aerospace BEVS will be integrated on its ultra long-range Global Express® business jet and the Global 5000*. The Thales EVS is comprised of a HUD, providing superior display capability in all-phases of flight, and the CMC Electronics SureSight I-series dual-band EVS IR sensor, providing outstanding image quality and weather penetration.
