Challange:
The device had to fit into an existing enclosure pocket that was originally created for a different key technology. In addition, the product had to be completely submersible.

Solution:

• Custom geometric design to fit into existing pocket.
• elastomer layer with wrap around feature.
• Silicone RTV seal to rear spacer to achieve water-proof solution.
• Floating actuator allows tight key spacing without compromising the tactile feel.

This product is a hand-held meter reading device for rugged, outdoor use.
