BELLEVUE, Wash., Nov. 1, 2012 – Esterline Corporation (NYSE: ESL), (www.esterline.com), a leading specialty manufacturer serving the global aerospace and defense markets, today announced that Amy Watson has joined the company in the position of Associate General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. Watson has worked over the past 13 years for a major Seattle-area law firm and as a corporate in-house counsel.

Watson served for more than seven years as an associate with the law firm Perkins Coie LLP in Corporate Governance and Transactions. In that position, she advised Esterline management on a wide range of corporate legal matters and transactions. Most recently, Watson served as Area Vice President, Associate General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Seattle-based RealNetworks, Inc.
Graduating with honors, Watson received both her JD and a Master of Studies in Environmental Law degree from Vermont Law School. She also received an MBA and Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Illinois. She is a member of both the Washington State Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
