March 29, 2011 - Duane Anderson recently joined Esterline Control Systems – AVISTA as its newest programs manager. He brings 30 years of experience in software and test engineering to the AVISTA services team. His experience includes more than 25 years at Honeywell, including leading global software development teams to successfully deliver products for leading aerospace programs.
As a Six Sigma Black Belt and Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Assessor, Anderson led multiple formal and informal process improvement efforts saving money and accelerating time-to-market. He started his career with Cray Research as a manufacturing test engineer and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North Dakota State University.
In his free time, Anderson is a beef farmer. His family’s 130 acre farm is located near the St. Croix River Valley in Minnesota. They raise Angus beef, corn, and soybeans.
